  • 1 Tbsp. yellow mustard
  • 1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 tsp. kosher salt
  • pepper, to taste
  • 1 pack dinner rolls, 12 count
  • 16 slices American cheese
  • 3 Tbsp. butter, melted
  • pinch of salt and garlic powder
  • 2 tsp. white sesame seeds
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cup ketchup
  • 2 Tbsp. sweet pickle relish
  • 2 tsp. sugar
  • 1 tsp. distilled white vinegar
  • salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
  2. Butter the bottom of a baking sheet.
  3. In a sauté pan, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Sauté finely diced onions for 3 minutes.
  4. Add ground beef and cook until no longer pink (about 6–7 minutes). Drain excess fat.
  5. Stir in minced garlic, Worcestershire sauce, mustard, salt, and pepper for an additional minute.
  6. Slice dinner rolls in half and place the bottom halves on the prepared baking sheet.
  7. Mix melted butter with garlic powder and salt; brush over the bottom rolls.
  8. Layer with cheese slices, beef mixture, and remaining cheese slices. Press gently.
  9. Top with the other half of the rolls and brush again with butter mixture; sprinkle sesame seeds on top.
  10. Bake for 12–15 minutes until warmed through and cheese is melted.
  11. While sliders bake, whisk together mayonnaise, ketchup, relish, sugar, vinegar, salt, and pepper for the burger sauce.
  12. Serve warm with the burger sauce on the side.
