  • 2 tablespoons butter (melted)
  • ⅛ teaspoon garlic powder

Instructions

  1. In a large pot over medium heat, melt the butter. Add the chopped onion, carrots, and celery; sauté until softened.
  2. Sprinkle in the flour while stirring continuously for about 2 minutes.
  3. Gradually whisk in the chicken broth and half-and-half until smooth.
  4. Stir in the cooked chicken and frozen peas into the broth mixture.
