Description

Ingredients

  • 340 g frozen chopped spinach, thawed and squeezed dry
  • 170 g cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup grated cheddar or mozzarella cheese
  • 1 tube refrigerated thin crust pizza dough (approximately 340 g)
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 cloves garlic, grated or 1 tsp of garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine thawed spinach, cream cheese, garlic, salt, onion powder, chili powder, pepper, and Italian seasoning until well blended.
  3. Roll out the pizza dough into a rectangle on a floured surface and cut it into a triangle shape.
  4. Spread the spinach-cheese filling over half of the triangle and fold over the other half.
  5. Cut strips from the base upward toward the tip without cutting all the way through; twist each strip gently.
  6. Place on a parchment-lined baking sheet and brush with melted butter mixed with garlic salt and Italian seasoning.
  7. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
