- ½ cup salted butter (sliced into pats)
- 1 tablespoon Honey Dijon mustard
- 1 tablespoon fresh chopped chives
- 1 tablespoon fresh chopped parsley
- 1 tablespoon fresh thyme leaves
- 1 teaspoon minced garlic
- ½ teaspoon kosher salt
- ½ teaspoon fresh cracked black pepper
- ½ teaspoon paprika
- ¼ teaspoon ground chipotle powder
- 12 King Hawaiian Rolls (1 pack – keep the rolls connected)
- 1 pound ground beef (80/20 mixture recommended)
- ½ cup finely chopped sweet yellow onion
- 1 teaspoon minced garlic
- 2 tablespoons hamburger seasoning (like McCormick’s brand)
- 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1½ cups sharp cheddar cheese (freshly shredded)
- 8 slices turkey bacon (cooked, crispy and crumbled)
- 1 cup french fried onions
- 1 medium size jalapeno (seeded and sliced into 12 rings)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F and prepare a baking dish with nonstick spray.
- Melt butter in a saucepan and whisk in mustard, herbs, garlic, salt, pepper, paprika, and chipotle powder.
- Brown ground beef with onion and garlic in a skillet; mix in seasoning.
- Assemble sliders by layering cowboy butter on buns, followed by beef mixture, cheese, jalapenos, and remaining butter on top.
- Cover with foil and bake for 15 minutes; uncover and bake for another 10 minutes until golden.
