  • Salt & pepper to taste
  • Freshly grated parmesan cheese (for serving)

Instructions

  1. Boil salted water in a large pot and cook the pasta al dente according to package instructions.
  2. In a skillet over medium-high heat, melt the butter and sauté minced garlic for about one minute.
  3. Stir in tomato paste, tomato sauce, cream, and Italian seasoning until smooth; simmer for about five minutes until thickened.
  4. Season with salt and pepper; add sugar if needed to balance acidity.
  5. Drain the pasta using a colander, then toss it with the sauce in the skillet. Add hot pasta water for desired consistency.
