Ingredients
- 200g Rump/Sirloin steak
- 1 Egg
- 1 cup Corn/Potato Starch
- ½ Sweet Onion
- ½ Bell Pepper
- 2–3 Spring Onions
- 2–3 Bird's Eye Chillies
- 3 tbsp Sweet Chilli Sauce
- 2 tbsp Ketchup
Instructions
- Thinly slice the beef steak and marinate with all marinade ingredients for at least 15 minutes.
- In a bowl, mix together all stir-fry sauce ingredients and set aside.
- Add the egg to the marinated beef and coat with corn/potato starch.
- Heat oil to high heat (350°F) and fry the beef strips until crispy (1–2 minutes). Drain on paper towels.
- In a wok, stir-fry sliced onions and bell peppers briefly, then add fried beef strips and sauce mixture. Stir well for another minute.
- Serve immediately with rice or noodles.
