  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce

  • 2 ½ cups baby red potatoes, sliced
  • 1 ½ cups carrots, chopped
  • 1 cup celery, sliced
  • 6 ounces tomato paste
  • 32 ounces beef broth
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup water

Instructions

  1. Season the beef stew meat with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and Worcestershire sauce.
  2. Layer seasoned meat in the slow cooker followed by the sliced onion.
  3. Add baby potatoes, carrots, and celery on top of the onion.
  4. Pour in tomato paste and beef broth over all ingredients.
  5. Cover and cook on low for 8 to 10 hours or high for 3 to 6 hours until meat is tender.
  6. To thicken the stew, mix flour with water to create a slurry about 20 minutes before serving and stir into the stew.
