Ingredients

  • 2 thick cuts of steak (eye of round recommended)
  • 1 package onion soup mix (or garlic herb dry soup mix)
  • 4 potatoes (cut into 1-inch pieces)
  • 1.5 to 2 cups beef broth

Instructions

  1. Spray the inside of the crockpot with non-stick cooking spray.
  2. Place the steaks at the bottom of the pot.
  3. Wash and cut the potatoes into 1-inch cubes, then position them around the steaks.
  4. Pour in enough beef broth to submerge half of each steak and sprinkle with onion soup mix.
  5. Cover and cook on high for 3-4 hours or low for 6-8 hours until both steak and potatoes are tender.
