Ingredients
- 1.5 pounds sirloin steak (or ribeye or strip steak)
- Salt & pepper (to taste)
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 4 tablespoons butter (divided)
- 4–5 cloves garlic (minced)
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley
Instructions
- Let the steak rest at room temperature for 30 minutes before cooking.
- Cut the steak into 1-inch cubes and season with salt and pepper.
- Heat olive oil and 1 tablespoon of butter in a skillet over medium-high heat. Sear the steak cubes in batches for about 2 minutes on each side until medium doneness is achieved.
- In the same skillet, reduce heat to medium-low, add remaining butter and minced garlic, cooking until fragrant (about 1-2 minutes). Toss the cooked steak back into the pan with any juices.
