- 4–6 cloves garlic, minced
- 8 oz cremini or white button mushrooms (optional)
- 1/2 cup low-sodium chicken or vegetable broth
- 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
- Seasonings: oregano, basil, smoked paprika, salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder
- Whole wheat hoagie rolls
- 8 slices reduced-fat provolone cheese or 1.5 cups shredded mozzarella
