- 2 tbsp ground cinnamon
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, softened (for filling)
- 1 cup powdered sugar (for icing)
- 2 tbsp milk (for icing)
Instructions
- In a large mixing bowl, combine warm milk, yeast, and a tablespoon of sugar; let sit for 5 minutes until foamy.
- Mix in melted butter, remaining sugar, eggs, and salt.
- Gradually add flour until a soft dough forms. Knead on a floured surface for 5-7 minutes.
- Place dough in a greased bowl, cover it, and let rise for about 1 hour until doubled in size.
- Roll out the dough into a rectangle; spread softened butter on top and sprinkle with brown sugar and cinnamon.
- Roll tightly into a log; cut into 12 rolls and place them in a greased baking dish. Let rise for another 20 minutes.
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and bake for about 25 minutes until golden brown.
- To prepare icing, mix powdered sugar with milk and drizzle over warm rolls before serving.
