  • 1 ½ pounds russet potatoes, cubed
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder
  • ½ teaspoon smoked paprika
  • ½ teaspoon kosher salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • Pinch of cayenne pepper
  • Optional: Green onions for garnish

Instructions

  1. Pour 1 cup of water into the bottom of your Instant Pot liner. Place potatoes in a steamer basket and lower it into the pot.
  2. Cover and secure the lid; set the valve to sealing. Cook on high pressure for 2 minutes (for firmer) or 3 minutes (for softer).
  3. Once done, carefully release pressure and remove the lid.
  4. Take out the steamer basket and dry the pot. Set to sauté mode, add butter, and let it melt.
  5. Add cooked potatoes along with seasonings; toss until well-coated.
  6. Serve hot, garnished with green onions if desired.
