  • 1/4 cup semisweet chocolate chips
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 2 large eggs
  • 3/4 cup flour
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/3 cup Dutch process cocoa powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 32 candy eyes
  • 1 cup white chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Melt butter and chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl for about 30 seconds. Stir and heat again until fully melted.
  2. In another bowl, combine flour, brown sugar, white sugar, cocoa powder, and salt.
  3. Mix eggs and vanilla extract into the melted butter mixture until smooth.
  4. Gradually fold in the dry ingredients until just combined.
  5. Pour the batter into a greased or parchment-lined baking pan (9×9 inches) and bake at 350°F (175°C) for 30-35 minutes.
  6. Allow cooling for about 5 minutes before lifting out the brownies to cool completely on a wire rack.
  7. Melt white chocolate chips in intervals until smooth. Transfer to a zip-loc bag for easy decorating.
  8. Place two candy eyes on each brownie piece and drizzle melted white chocolate to create mummy bandages.
