Ingredients
- 1 pound boneless rib-eye steak (or turkey)
- 1 green bell pepper (chopped)
- ½ cup onion (chopped)
- 6 slices provolone cheese
- 12 egg roll wrappers
- Oil for frying
Instructions
- In a large pan over medium heat, melt half of the butter. Sauté chopped green bell pepper and onion for 3-4 minutes until softened.
- Remove vegetables and add remaining butter to the pan. Cook rib-eye steak with salt and pepper for 3-4 minutes until browned.
- Combine sautéed vegetables with cooked steak in the pan.
- Place half a slice of provolone cheese and 2-3 tablespoons of filling in the center of each egg roll wrapper. Seal edges with water.
- Heat oil in a deep frying pan over medium heat. Fry egg rolls in batches for about 3-5 minutes until golden brown.
