  • 14 ounces sliced turkey sausage or chicken sausage
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 4 ounces softened cream cheese
  • 1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • 3 green onions (sliced)
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F and grease a 9 x 13-inch casserole pan with cooking spray.
  2. Layer the frozen pierogies and sliced turkey or chicken sausage evenly in the casserole pan.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine softened cream cheese, sour cream, chicken broth, black pepper, and half of the sliced green onions. Stir until smooth.
  4. Pour the creamy mixture over the layered pierogies and sausage.
  5. Cover tightly with aluminum foil and bake for about 30 minutes.
  6. Remove foil, sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese on top, and bake uncovered for an additional 10 minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  7. Serve warm, garnished with remaining sliced green onions.
