  • 1 box Spice Cake Mix
  • 1 can Pumpkin Puree (1516 oz.)
  • 2 cups vegan marshmallow cream
  • 1/2 cup shortening
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/3 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F and grease your Twinkie pan.
  2. Combine the spice cake mix and pumpkin puree until well mixed.
  3. Portion the batter into the Twinkie pan, filling each cavity about 2/3 full.
  4. Bake for 15–18 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  5. Allow cakes to cool completely in the pan.
  6. Beat together vegan marshmallow cream, shortening, salt, powdered sugar, and vanilla until smooth; add water if needed.
  7. Fill a piping bag with the filling and create holes in the cooled cakes to pipe in the filling.
