- 2 cups vegan marshmallow cream
- 1/2 cup shortening
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/3 cup powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F and grease your Twinkie pan.
- Combine the spice cake mix and pumpkin puree until well mixed.
- Portion the batter into the Twinkie pan, filling each cavity about 2/3 full.
- Bake for 15–18 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Allow cakes to cool completely in the pan.
- Beat together vegan marshmallow cream, shortening, salt, powdered sugar, and vanilla until smooth; add water if needed.
- Fill a piping bag with the filling and create holes in the cooled cakes to pipe in the filling.
