- 2–3 diced jalapenos (seeds removed)
- 1/2 cup flour
- 1 egg
- 1 cup milk
- 1 1/2 cups breadcrumbs
- Cayenne pepper
- Paprika
- Garlic powder
- Oil for frying
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix shredded cheese and diced jalapenos.
- Shape the mixture into 1.5-inch balls and freeze for 30-60 minutes.
- Heat oil to 350°F in a deep pot.
- Prepare three bowls: one with flour, one with a mix of egg and milk, and one with seasoned breadcrumbs.
- Roll each frozen ball in flour, dip in egg/milk mixture, then coat with breadcrumbs.
- Fry in hot oil for 3-4 minutes until golden brown.
- Drain on paper towels and serve hot.
