  • 1 yellow bell pepper

  • 1 rib celery
  • 3 cloves garlic, chopped
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 2 cups fresh grated parmesan cheese
  • 2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning, divided
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 3 tablespoons flour
  • Salt
  • 1 cup reserved pasta water
  • 2 teaspoons black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder

Instructions

  1. Cook the spaghetti in salted water until al dente; reserve 1 cup of pasta water.
  2. In a skillet, melt butter and sauté chopped bell peppers, onion, and celery until tender.
  3. Add garlic and Cajun seasoning; cook until fragrant.
  4. Stir in flour, then gradually add reserved pasta water and heavy cream to create the sauce.
  5. Mix in grated parmesan until melted; simmer to thicken.
  6. Sauté shrimp with remaining Cajun seasoning until pink; gently fold in crabmeat.
  7. Combine seafood mixture with sauce and toss with cooked spaghetti.
