  • 12 baguettes
  • olive oil spray
  • 8 oz cream cheese
  • juice of 1 small lemon
  • 2 tbsp fresh dill
  • 1 garlic clove
  • 8 oz cold smoked salmon
  • capers
  • fresh dill for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Slice baguette into 1/4 to 1/2-inch pieces and arrange on a baking sheet.
  2. Spray both sides of the baguette slices with olive oil. Bake for about 9 minutes until golden and crisp, flipping halfway through. Cool.
  3. In a mixing bowl, blend softened cream cheese, lemon juice, chopped dill, crushed garlic, salt, and pepper until smooth.
  4. Once the crostini are cool, place one slice of cold smoked salmon on each piece of bread.
  5. Use a piping bag or spoon to add a dollop of the cream cheese mixture on top of the salmon. Garnish with capers and fresh dill. Serve immediately.
