Ingredients
- 1–2 baguettes
- olive oil spray
- 8 oz cream cheese
- juice of 1 small lemon
- 2 tbsp fresh dill
- 1 garlic clove
- 8 oz cold smoked salmon
- capers
- fresh dill for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Slice baguette into 1/4 to 1/2-inch pieces and arrange on a baking sheet.
- Spray both sides of the baguette slices with olive oil. Bake for about 9 minutes until golden and crisp, flipping halfway through. Cool.
- In a mixing bowl, blend softened cream cheese, lemon juice, chopped dill, crushed garlic, salt, and pepper until smooth.
- Once the crostini are cool, place one slice of cold smoked salmon on each piece of bread.
- Use a piping bag or spoon to add a dollop of the cream cheese mixture on top of the salmon. Garnish with capers and fresh dill. Serve immediately.
