  • 16 large white or cremini mushrooms
  • 8 oz cream cheese (softened)
  • 1/2 cup cooked sausage (or crumbled bacon)
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 clove garlic (minced)
  • 16 small olives (pitted)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Clean mushrooms and remove stems; chop stems finely.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine chopped stems, cream cheese, sausage (or bacon), Parmesan, garlic, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
  4. Stuff each mushroom cap generously with the filling.
  5. Place on a greased baking sheet and press an olive into each stuffed cap.
