  • 1½ cups Panko Bread Crumbs
  • sticks Salted Butter (12 Tbsp)
  • 1 Medium Sweet Onion (diced)
  • 2 lb Ground Meat (beef, pork, or venison)
  • 3 cloves Garlic (minced)
  • 2 cups Shell Pasta
  • 5 cups Beef Broth
  • ½ cup Heavy Cream
  • 2 Large Eggs

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine Panko breadcrumbs with milk; set aside.
  3. Sauté diced onion in butter until translucent; add garlic and cook briefly.
  4. Mix sautéed onions into breadcrumb mixture; cool.
  5. In another bowl, beat eggs and combine with ground meat; add cooled breadcrumb mixture.
  6. Shape into meatballs and refrigerate for 30 minutes.
  7. Cook shell pasta until al dente; drain and place in a casserole dish.
  8. Brown meatballs in a skillet; add to the pasta dish.
  9. Prepare sauce by melting butter, adding flour, then whisking in beef broth and cream until thickened.
