  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter (for crumble)
  • 1/3 cup flour
  • 1/3 cup brown sugar (for crumble)
  • 1/3 cup pecan halves (toasted)
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt (for crumble)
  • 1 egg for egg wash
  • Whipped cream, ice cream, or caramel sauce for serving

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and lightly spray a mini muffin pan.
  2. In a saucepan, melt butter over medium heat; add diced apples, brown sugar, salt, and cinnamon. Cook until apples are tender; stir in lemon juice and set aside to cool.
  3. Prepare the crumble topping by mixing flour, brown sugar, toasted pecans, and butter until crumbly.
  4. Roll out the pie crusts and cut into rounds to fit mini muffin cups. Press rounds into the pan edges and brush with egg wash.
  5. Fill each crust with cooled apple filling and top with crumble mixture.
  6. Bake for 15–20 minutes until golden brown; allow to cool before serving.
